Caesarian Sections Funding Cut?
Is it just talk? With Canada trying harder to pay down their debt, they are making health care cuts, Can it be true that they would delist C-sections?
See HERE for article by The Star.

This does not mean that if you have an emergency c-section you will have to pay for it. This means that those who are too “posh to push” or those found to not have a medically necessary reason to have a c-section will have to pay out of pocket. So will this actually cut down on the C-section rates…. WE can only hope that it will.
The problem that we have is that c-section rates are at an all time high. And we as tax payers are paying for them. We are paying a surgical team to deliver babies that could be delivered by one midwife and a nurse for much less the cost.
Maybe this is a step in the right direction for us.
